Bedford Men's Club Candidate Forums

The Men's Club, with the help of Bedford Community Television, has been sponsoring Candidates' Forums for 13 years.  As an organization serving the residents of Bedford, we believe it to be important that voters have an opportunity to hear from the individuals who wish to be in leadership positions of the town.

The School Board Candidates Forum was held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
The Town Council Candidates Forum was held on Thursday, February 21, 2019.


Watching these forums will allow you to get to know your candidates as they answer questions that are important to the citizens of Bedford.

And make sure to vote on Tuesday, March 12th, from 7am to 7pm, at the Bedford High School.

State Representative Special Election Candidates Forum

Bedford Men's Club sponsored the candidates forum for the upcoming special election.  These 2 candidates are on the ballet for State Representative from Hillsborough County District 7.  The forum covered topics critical to the residents of Bedford NH. Voting will take place on September 7, 2021

Bedford Men's Club Hosts Town Council Candidates Debate

On February 15, Bedford Men's Club President Dante D'Amato moderated the BMC's 2017 Town Council Candidates' Forum. The forum was held at the BCTV studios and broadcast live on BCTV channel 22. The program will be re-broadcast periodically until the March 14 Town Meeting. It is also available for streaming at http://trms.bedfordtv.com/Cablecast/public-site/index.html#/show/7960?channel=2.

The Bedford Men’s Club would like to thank BCTV for hosting this program. The BMC has been sponsoring this Candidates’ Forum for over 10 years. As an organization serving the residents of Bedford, the Men’s Club found it important that the voters of our town have an opportunity to hear what the candidates have to say on issues that affect the way we live and work. This forum provides an opportunity for candidates to convince the voters of Bedford why they should be elected to the Town Council.

The Bedford Mens Club is a civic organization that supports education, sports and betterment programs that help make Bedford a better place to live. The club motto is “Belonging Means Caring”. The club supports education, sports and community involvement programs in Bedford through the annual sales of Christmas trees and other fundraising programs. The club is open to men over the age of 21 who live or work in Bedford. Meetings are usually the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM, sometimes the second Monday due to holidays.


2018 Town Council and School Board Candidate Debates

The Bedford Men’s Club has been hosting live candidate forums for many years and enjoys providing an opportunity for the candidates to answer questions that are important to the voters of Bedford.  The Bedford Men's Club Town Council Forum was held February 15, 2018 and the Bedford Men's Club School Board Forum was held March 6, 2018.  Both events took place at the BCTV studios and council chambers. 

The live events were hosted by BMC President Dante D'Amato and were recorded for rebroadcast on BCTV.  Links for On-Demand viewing of these events are below.
