September 2016 - Bedford Men's Club Supports Team Tech Tonix.

 

Team Tech Tonix is participating in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) for the 2016-2017 season.  FTC is an out-of-school program for 7th-12th grade students that was founded by inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen, who is also a Bedford resident, in order to help students learn about the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on learning and interdisciplinary experience in the field of robotics.

 

"Team Tech Tonix would like to thank the Bedford Men's Club for their gracious support of sponsoring the playing field and all its components," said team mentor Linda Magay. "This field will allow our team to practice this year's challenge, called Velocity Vortex.  More importantly, it will support the FIRST program in Bedford for many years to come"

 
The Bedford Men’s Club has donated $2,000 to sponsor the key note speaker at the upcoming “Stand By Me” event on May 20.
 

Bedford Men's Club President Dante D'Amato presents a donation to the Bedford High School DECA club to help with expenses for their trip to the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. 

 
The Bedford Men's club Donates fund to the Bedford High School F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Club for the purchase of a new laptop for programming their robot.
